Blend

Blend is a documentary directed by Malika Pellicioli.

Blend tells the odyssey of four Swiss women trying to break into the most secretive wine club on the planet!

In Switzerland, Johanna, Miriam, Seyma and Amanda work in the wine industry from estate to retail. They are the best at what they do but they won’t stop there. Eager to learn and to be acknowledged, they took on the hardest challenge of a lifetime: becoming a Master of Wine! This exam has the highest standards in the wine industry. Most students take a decade to complete the requirements. A marathon-like effort requiring strength of will, dedication and renunciation. During the toughest year of the adventure, this documentary follows our four protagonists preparing and taking on the blind tasting exam.
Their quest for the legitimacy they already deserve in the Swiss and global wine business will lead them through sacrifices and all-nighters while balancing professional and personal life. Months after months, Johanna, Seyma, Amanda and Miriam will endeavor to obtain the ultimate two-letter accolade: MW.

Shot entirely in Iran in the remote areas next to the Caspian Sea, it narrates the story of a young boy on a search for a mythical stone buried in the depths of the Caspian Sea. As this stone is presumably the key to eternal happiness, the boy will encounter on his journey all the people who have been, just like him, searching for this stone.

Zvicra

Zvicra is a documentary directed by Fisnik Maxhuni and Benoît Goncerut.

With its massive immigrant population, Switzerland has always been a place of a double search: first, how is the country’s DNA evolving as it constantly redefines itself? Second, how do these foreigners articulate their search for identity in the midst of uncertainty and constant need to define the “self” in tangible terms? Zvicra (which means "Switzerland" in Albanian) highlights the complexity of lost and rediscovered identities in Switzerland, a country that is destined to adapt to ever-increasing population arrivals. The film tackles the question through 7 Albanian characters whose community is one of the most important of the country.
